This is a useful site with a wealth of health related information. It is run by EMIS, who provide our clinical information systems and provides you with the same online information as is made available to doctors during consultations although in more friendly fashion.

The practice is commissioned by Coventry Teaching Primary Care Trust (Coventry tPCT) to provide primary care to patients who ellect to register with the practice. coventry tPCT are responsible for the provision of primary medical care to te residents of Coventry. In addition to your GP, this includes such services as District Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visitors.

This is a new website combining the resources of NHS Direct and NHS Choices on one site. a wealth of useful information is avaialble, together with blogs for those patient who wish to participate in online discussion and debate.

The Department of Health is the government department with specific rsponsility for ensuring that the health needs of the nation are met in accordance with the priorities set by government.

Godiva BC is an organistion formed in 2007 by clinical and managerial staff from approximately 40 of the 65 GP practices in the Coventry tPCT area. Its objective is to ensure that health care in Coventry is commissioned in line with local and national objectives and that the GP's views are considered when policy decisions ar made. There is also a representative of the public on the board of Godiva PBC.

The Older People's Information Network: this is a free information service for people over 50 in the Coventry area. This is an initiative developed by Coventry Libraries and Information Services in partnership with Better Government for Older People (Coventry), Age Concern (Coventry) and the Coventry and Warwickshire Network.

DIPEx shows you a wide variety of personal experiences of health and illness. You can watch, listen to or read their interviews, find reliable information on treatment choices and where to find support.
The site covers cancers, heart disease, mental health, neurological conditions, screening programmes, pregnancy, teenage health, chronic illnesses and many others.
DIPEx was voted by the Times as one of the top 3 patient health sites (2006), was in the Guardian's top 10 health websites (2004) and was singled out in a recent study (Times article March 2007) as a favourite, trusted site for patients.
