Park Leys Medical Practice

The following issues have been highlighted by the responses to the questionnaire and the practice is committed to further changes and developments to the appointment system to ensure that it meets the needs of as many of our patients as possible, as often as possible.

• Disclosing problem to receptionists and duplication of conversations.
• Access to doctor of choice.
• Time to call back.
• Problems with call back: at work, driving, keeping phone free and staying by phone, hearing impaired patients.
• Other Issues: Fillongley, repeat prescriptions, blood tests, x-rays etc, opening hours.

Discussions are ongoing, both within the practice and with Patient Forum to see how best to rspond to the issues raised by the questionnaire. As ideas are developed and changes are implemented details will be added to this site and published in our Newsletters.

As described elsewhere on this site, phlebotomy services (blood taking) will be starting at Keresley Green on 28th January 2008 and we are working on a system to allow the online ordering of repeat prescriptions through this site.
